Tumalo Mountain in winter | The best short run in Central Oregon

by Chase Parnell — November 15, 2020

Nikki and I had the chance to sneak away for a run in the mountains together! It’s been a long, long time since we’ve been out on a run date and I’m going to say that it was — healing. Covid has really reduced the opportunities for babysitting so this was a treat.

There’s not a lot to this video. It’s just some clips of Nikki and I having fun and doing what we love. Just enough snow up there to make things interesting. No falls but lots of sliding and skating around. This is a quick 4 mile out and back across the street from Mount Bachelor ski resort. From the summit panorama, Broken Top and the Three Sisters are most prominent.

Hope you enjoy this short 2 minute video! And hope you’re still getting out despite the changing seasons!
